Following the recent Midgian aggression, the Council of Storm-Singers has officially enacted "The Freeze-Out." Reports from the Central Isle confirm that the weather-engines have been tuned to a defensive frequency. While the Heartland remains in an Eternal Spring, the warm currents usually sent to The Lorn have been redirected. "The Weather-Mandate has been violated," stated an anonymous Arch-Mage. "If the Lorn wishes to seize the sun, they must first survive the frost."

The Order of The Iron Will has announced a 20% increase in sentinel patrols along the Bibar stretch of the Great Road. With the Midgian blockade disrupting the usual flow of precision tools, The Sands have shifted focus to heavy fortification. Massive iron-plated Rigs are now being manufactured at double-capacity to ensure that salt shipments reach the Central Isle despite the geopolitical tension. "The Loop moves," a Foreman of Gond was quoted, "even if we have to push it ourselves."

The Order of the Pale Lily in The Mires has noted a rise in "Mist-Sickness" among travelers attempting to bypass the Great Road. As merchants take to the dangerous wetlands of Tiver to avoid Midgian patrols, many are falling prey to the rising tides. The Order reminds all Hesperians that their pastel lavender outposts remain sanctuaries for the broken. "The Great Road is 1 day per hex for a reason," the Head Alchemist warned. "Walking the mud without a Wave-Slipper is an invitation to Ilmaterβs embrace."

The Blood-Bond of The Vales has heightened its ritual hunts following reports of "shifting shadows" at the edge of the Shroud. Veterans of the Flare Era fear that the recent magical instability from the Midgian invasion is thinning the veil once again. Sled-Dog Legions are being deployed to the outer Deep-Holds to protect the herds. Travelers are urged to stick to the Great Road, where the enchanted stones provide the only true protection against what lurks in the Tundra.

In the mountain peaks of The Lorn, The Binderβs Order is struggling to maintain "The Great Clockwork." With the Magesβ "Dead Air" grounding all Canopy Gryphons, Midgiaβs primary travel method (0.3 days per hex) has been neutralized. Markets in the Lorn are empty of Aberian meat and Tiver medicine. High Archivists of Oghma are reportedly sequestered in the Grand Archives, desperately seeking a "logical solution" to the blockade before the winter depths truly set in.
